Mahogany chiavari chairs and tropical centerpieces lend a “South Pacific” feel to this reception. Tropical upscale in the vein of Bali Hai or the Bahia! One of our unique tray passed items, also a crowd favorite are the tomato bisque shooters with grilled cheese points.
Coral lamour overlays set the tone for this reception. Coral is a sophisticated way to incorporate pink without being too “bridal barbie”! It is also somewhat neutral so it can be combined with many different types of accent colors and still be complimentary.
This is a first for me – the bride hand made all of her own napkins! She used different patterned fabric in the same color scheme and put little swatches on the placecards as well. Talk about unique and custom. She also requested a garden style menu with cheeses, vegetables, a few different salads and a carving station. Nice and light for an outdoor summer reception.
My favorite part of this bright reception were the placecards displayed in the wheatgrass! The long feasting table in the center added some interest to the layout as well as color from the table runner.
