‘Tis the Season – Winter Wedding and Event Ideas

With fall now ending and the winter season beginning, we start to head into winter wonderland wedding and event themes. There are many traditional decors, colors and accessories that are used when planning a winter event, but don’t feel restricted and bound to these traditional items. You always want to make sure that you are incorporating your personalities into your special event. I have compiled some of my favorite winter wedding and party theme ideas and photos that I know will bring an elegant, yet wintery presence to your event.

People tend to always go with the traditional colors of red and green to add to their décor for winter themed weddings. You want to be careful not to overdue these two colors or else your wedding is going to look like just another holidays party that your guests are attending. Looking outside the box for other colors that represent the holiday season is the first step that should be taken when finding the right décor. Colors like silver, gold and white with crystal, red and green accents will allow you to create a beautiful winter wonderland, while still being able to include the traditional colors of the holidays. There are so many different décor ideas that you can tie into your winter wedding and event theme. From table décor, to your escort cards, to your centerpieces, there are so many options that allow you to bring in those traditional winter ideas, but still leave you able to create your true vision for your special day.

Everyone wants their wedding cake and or desserts to reflect the theme of their wedding while also incorporating their personality. There are many options for wedding cake ideas that you can bring that winter wonderland theme into.

Consider fuller flowers this winter wedding season when it comes to your wedding bouquet and table décor. White roses and hydrangeas with a color accent will add an elegant look to your bouquet. Even adding sparkle to your bouquet will give it that winter look.

I love all of the little details that go into making sure that you are incorporating these types of themes into your wedding. These little details are what bring the whole event together!!
