Fun Zone at the Port Pavilion

We’re so excited because it’s prom season!! We had such a fun event this past weekend at the Broadway Pier Port Pavilion. The theme was Fun Zone and the night was full of dancing, food and carnival games. This was such a great event theme and we can’t wait for more proms coming up!

Japanese Friendship Garden: A Gem in Balboa Park

Tucked away in Balboa Park, the Japanese Friendship Garden boasts beautiful scenery. The venue features two event spaces including the upper garden which is a beautiful outdoor area with a serene coy pond and ceremonial gates that allow for the perfect ceremony backdrop. The Inamori Pavilion is the newest addition to the gardens and is an indoor space with wood accents and lots of natural light. Private events will enjoy private access to the entire garden for up to 300 guests.

Katie & Brice at a Private Ranch

Katie and Brice “got hitched” on a gorgeous September day and we loved it! From their round farm tables to their barrel flower pots, everything about this wedding wowed us. The newlyweds used X-back chairs and a wooden arch to give their ceremony that extra rustic feel. In addition to giving their guests a little bit of that Southern charm, the newlyweds also had cowboy boot bottle openers as favors – love it!

Lawn Games: A Great Way to Entertain Your Guests!

Lawn games are the perfect addition to your wedding reception and are sure to keep your guests entertained!  Some great options include Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Ladder Golf and Croquet. Here are some of our favorite wedding lawn games that are sure to get both sides of the family bonding in no time. Regardless of age and interests, it is always a good idea to host a few classic yard games at your reception!

The Look: Mismatched Bridesmaid Dresses

Mismatched bridesmaid dresses is a trend that is here to stay. Instead of putting your ladies in the same dress, allow them to choose slightly different ones with varying cuts and styles. Bridesmaid dresses in different hues are also a great option. So long as the color palette flows, all the different dresses will look beautiful side by side. Here are some photos of bridal parties that nailed the mix-and-match look!

Gourmet Sweets for The Perfect Dessert Bar

In addition to a delicious dinner, Personal Touch Dining has a wide variety of mouthwatering dessert options to choose from! From Parisian Macarons to mini churros with caramel dip, we can help you build a delectable dessert display sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth! Below are photos of some of our favorites!

Nadia & Dominic at the Darlington House

We love the color scheme that Nadia and Dominic used for their Darlington House wedding! Their reception looked classic and elegant with all black and white décor with red accents. The red flowers looked so beautiful all throughout the venue, including on top of the cake. Check out their gorgeous wedding photos!

Judy & Justin at The Ultimate Skybox

It was such a nice day at the Ultimate Skybox for Judy and Justin’s wedding. The ceremony took place outside on the patio overlooking downtown San Diego, which was a beautiful backdrop for this wedding. They chose a pretty color combination of blue and coral, with the bridal party in cobalt blue and the bouquets made up of white and coral flowers. With all the tables covered in white linens, the blue and peach florals in the centerpieces really stood out, and the gold chiavari chairs made the room look even more elegant.

Lauren & Eric at the Darlington House

The Darlington House was the perfect place for Lauren and Eric to say “I do!” They had their ceremony in the Egyptian Patio, followed by cocktail hour in the Andalusian Patio and their reception in the Rose Garden. There were round dining tables in the garden with a long head table, all covered in white linens. Their adorable flower arrangements in mason jars looked great on the white tables with dark fruitwood chairs. Between the flowers, bridesmaid dresses and wood signage, the color scheme of this wedding was so beautiful and matched this venue perfectly!
