Japanese Friendship Garden: A Gem in Balboa Park

Tucked away in Balboa Park, the Japanese Friendship Garden boasts beautiful scenery. The venue features two event spaces including the upper garden which is a beautiful outdoor area with a serene coy pond and ceremonial gates that allow for the perfect ceremony backdrop. The Inamori Pavilion is the newest addition to the gardens and is an indoor space with wood accents and lots of natural light. Private events will enjoy private access to the entire garden for up to 300 guests.

Andrina & Chad at Japanese Friendship Garden

We absolutely love the décor from Andrina and Chad’s wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden. Long centerpieces of greenery with pink and white flowers ran down the tables, next to gold votive candles and tall candelabras. They placed gold chargers at each setting that matched the gold chiavari chairs and sequin cake table linen. We love how the dusty rose napkins hung from the tables and even matched the bridesmaid’s dresses. This couple thought of every little detail and it made their wedding so stunning!
