Dana & Chase at Darlington House

We were blessed with a gorgeous day for Dana and Chase’s wedding day at the Darlington House in La Jolla!

This lovely couple took each other’s breath away with their first look then exchanged heartwarming vows in the Egyptian Patio in front of all of their family and friends.

The reception was a collaboration of gorgeous farm tables, lace and pretty pops of yellows.Halvorsen (111)Halvorsen (49)Halvorsen (63)Halvorsen (35)Halvorsen (39)Halvorsen (169)Halvorsen (185)Halvorsen (270)Halvorsen (259)Halvorsen (271)Halvorsen (285)Halvorsen (278)Halvorsen (257)Halvorsen (302)Halvorsen (276)Halvorsen (308)Halvorsen (306)Halvorsen (311)Halvorsen (313)Halvorsen (315)Halvorsen (312)Halvorsen (317)Halvorsen (320)Halvorsen (324)Halvorsen (322)Halvorsen (318)Halvorsen (321)Halvorsen (327)Halvorsen (330)Halvorsen (333)Halvorsen (328)Halvorsen (332)Halvorsen (329)Halvorsen (339)Halvorsen (374)Halvorsen (344)Halvorsen (340)

Cyndi and Chris at Darlington House

Dee’Dee Stephens, family friend and florist to the bride and groom, created the perfect summertime centerpieces of Gerberas, Carnations and Lemons in glass vases. Guests were served individual servings of yummy Bundt cake made by a local bakery!

Emily and Dave at Coronado Community Center

This reception was accented with adorable lanterns, pine cones and bottles of sparkling water for the guest favors! Sean Walker Photography took all of the gorgeous photographs below and Rosie from Grove Pastry Shop & Cakery made the very charming cake!

Elizabeth and Devin at Darlington House

This couple had some very unique placecards to add to their already bright and beautiful wedding. Delicious Hors d’oeuvres were provided by Personal Touch Dining and included Chicken Yakitori, Artichoke and Sundried Tomato Pinwheels, Mini Pesto Paninis and Spicy Chipotle Shrimp!

Mallory and Kraig at NTC McMillin Center

This reception featured food stations instead of a traditional buffet or plated dinner. Guests feasted on a carved meat station, martini salads that were mixed fresh right in front of them, and a whipped potato bar with goat cheese whipped potatoes and a wide variety of toppings to make it their own. Elegant centerpieces from Suzan M Florals decorated the tables, and the beautiful cake is from Flour Power. Megan Mills of Swann Soirees was by our side to help pull everything together for the big day!

Tom and Laura on Berkeley Ferryboat

Here is a wedding with tons of great details. Guests enjoyed mini pulled pork sliders during the cocktail hour, and a delicious portobello ravioli with a white wine sauce with dinner. In addition to the cakes and cupcakes provided by Baby Cakes, guests enjoyed mini pastries and ice cold root beer floats.

A delightful Brunch

When you’re just not ready for the party to stop, why not have a brunch the day after to continue the celebration? These lovely brunch stations featured a savory carving station with Roasted Turkey Breast and Honey Glazed Ham, a French Toast station with Strawberry Compote and Whipped Cream, and a Build Your Own Omelete Station. Guests were also treated to Bloody marys and mimosas at the bar. Delicious!

Catherine and Stephen at La Jolla Woman’s Club

Oh happy day! Steve from Blue Wave Photographic sent me some beautiful shots of this La Jolla Woman’s Club wedding.  Bill Calhoun kept the dance floor full until after the dinner hour, when guests were treated to a Cherries Jubilee station. The station featured brandy marinated cherries flambed right in front of the guests and presented on top of vanilla ice cream with a butter cookie.  This in addition to a delectable cake from European cake gallery! I love the skinny vases on the cake table to dress up the table and showcase the bridesmaids bouquets. My favorite little detail is the gorgeous holder she used for the table numbers.

For a little something extra, a room shot from one of our own cameras:

Jessica and Ryan at Ocean View Villas

Here we find ourselves at our favorite cliffside ocean view location again! The yellow and white put everyone in a sunny disposition. The surfboard acted as a guestbook for everyone to sign, what a great touch! By dinner, everyone was ready to partake in the slow roasted tri tip and baked chicken breast covered in a morney sauce garnished with marinated artichokes and sundried tomato. After dinner, guests were treated to the bride’s favorite Uncle Biff’s Cookies, and carafes of ice cold milk.

RB Courtyard Wedding

Here is a gorgeous wedding at the Rancho Bernardo Courtyard with the Jacaranda Trees in Full bloom. Simple florals from Nannell’s Flowers dressed the tables without distracting from the surrounding fauna. Edelweiss did it again with a delicious cake! Guests enjoyed our pecan crusted chicken with a fresh pineapple citrus relish.
