You might have your go to after work indulgence mapped out, but let’s face it; you want to try something new! 5. Point Loma Seafood’s What used to be a little seafood-fisherman hub, is now a hotspot in San Diego! Even though they don’t have a taco Tuesday special, their traditional fish tacos are to die for! From Mrs. Kelley’s original batter for their fish fry to their homemade beans, your taste buds are begging you to try it! This recently remodeled hotspot has a great view of the marina and indoor and outdoor seating! Top off your fish taco plate with homemade lemonade, also Mrs. Kelley’s original recipe!
4. Brigantine Now this place is always poppin’ on Taco Tuesday! Enjoy $1 off all tacos on their patio or in the bar! The taco variety is delicious from the buffalo chicken to carnitas to traditional fish! We of course opt for the traditional fish as seafood is hard to pass up here in San Diego! This is a great meeting place for drinks and tacos after work, especially if you hit it during their happy hour on Tuesdays from 4-7pm!
3. Lucha Libre You saw this first on Food Network’s Man vs. Food, and we are here to confirm the hype! Not necessarily to take their ultimate food challenge when you visit, but more for enjoying their authentic tacos instead! And don’t let that line out the door scare you away! Their tacos are worth the wait!
2. Oscar’s This is another top rated, local favorite! They are known for their tacos, especially the fish! Come in for $0.99 fish tacos during happy hour from 2:30-5:30 and beat the rush! We have tasted nothing but freshness from this little joint!
1. Personal Touch Dining While we might be a little biased, but our chef’s Taco station is just to die for! Enjoy Mahi Mahi, carnitas, pollo asado, or carne asada with all the right toppings! Our personal taco masterpiece is the carne asada filling on warm corn tortillas with Pico de Gallo, fresh jalapeños, Cotija cheese, and our unbeatable avocado cream sauce!
