Here is a gorgeous reception overlooking the ocean. Coral runners and royal purple napkins set the scene to watch the sun sink over the ocean while music played and the wine was flowing! All of the wedding guests were also staying at the Inn which always makes the party more fun (and safe!) when nobody has to worry about driving home.

I love a bride that is not afraid of color! In a neutral contemporary room, shocks of color helped the bride and groom to show their bright personalities. A ceremony in the round let the happy couple feel surrounded by their friends and family while exchanging vows. A great way to make your ceremony feel intimate even when you have ~200 guests!

We just keep seeing more and more beautiful, creative weddings at this venue. The little details in this reception make a big difference. From the unique ceremony setup to the votive lanterns hung from the palapa, no stone went unturned. The colors make it contemporary but still classic.

This couple served delicious vegan fare with an organic theme in the gardens of the Darlington House. Walnut folding chairs added elegance and warmed up the gardens while keeping the color palatte mellow.

Mahogany chiavari chairs and tropical centerpieces lend a “South Pacific” feel to this reception. Tropical upscale in the vein of Bali Hai or the Bahia! One of our unique tray passed items, also a crowd favorite are the tomato bisque shooters with grilled cheese points.

This is a first for me – the bride hand made all of her own napkins! She used different patterned fabric in the same color scheme and put little swatches on the placecards as well. Talk about unique and custom. She also requested a garden style menu with cheeses, vegetables, a few different salads and a carving station. Nice and light for an outdoor summer reception.

A paragon of understated elegance, this reception from the linens to the centerpieces to the modern cake topper had class, elegance, and simplicity.

My favorite part of this bright reception were the placecards displayed in the wheatgrass! The long feasting table in the center added some interest to the layout as well as color from the table runner.
