Julia and Carlos at Mt. Woodson

Julia described her wedding as an “enchanted fairytale wedding” and one look at the pictures shows you why. The dreamy embroidered organza overlays by A Perfect Table were the best accent. The ceremony was inside the castle with a little bit of sparkle on the chairs from organza sashes. Towards the end of the night, the bride and groom danced amid sparklers in the guests hands, completing a dream wedding.

A nautical theme just blocks from the beach in Point Loma. Royal blue uplights accented the pillars around the room!

Kelly and Eddie at Mt. Woodson

They say rain is good luck on your wedding day, well this couple was extra lucky! There were only a few light drops during the ceremony, and the rest was smooth sailing. It was a good thing because the lawn area looked so sleek and stylish, even the raindrops wouldn’t dare mar the picturesque layout. Plus a little cloud cover always gives perfect lighting for pictures.

Ashley and Brad at Oceanside Marina Suites

Oceanside Marina Suites is a waterfront gem for both ceremony and reception sites. One of the perks being that the honeymoon suite is walking distance from the reception area! Here is a modern reception with a bold touch of red tulips. The tenting kept guests cool while the sun was in full force, glistening off the water.

La Jolla Woman’s Club

The La Jolla Woman’s Club is a spanish style historical site just blocks from the water and downtown strip. The outer grounds provide space for the ceremony and cocktail hour and the indoor space is just perfect for a reception. This reception had a vintage touch with calla lilies on the tables and simple ivory linens to compliment the already beautiful interior. The most unique wedding cake I have seen yet – a “cheese” cake! Look closely and you can see that it is actually wheels of cheese stacked in tiers, which was cut and served to guests as a cheese course after the meal. Truly exceptional!

Heather and Josh at Quail Botanical Gardens

The San Diego weather was beautiful for this outdoor reception at the Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. The couple combined banquet tables with rounds to add interest to the space. As the sun went down, the gardens lit up with twinkle lights accenting the gazebo and beautiful foliage surrounding the reception area.

Cuyamaca Water Conservation Garden

A beautiful wedding and reception at the Water Conservation Garden located at Cuyamaca College in El Cajon. Organza panels were hung as a backdrop for the bride and groom, and the light wind gave them motion for a magical ceremony.

Kate and Jimmy

What can be more personal than a wedding and reception at your own home? This garden style reception was hosted at a beautiful Mt. Helix home. The yard area was accented with twinkle lights, DIY centerpieces, and a personal succulent for each guest to take home as a thank you from the bride and groom. My favorite is the lime centerpiece featured at the bar – so simple, yet such an impact on style and color.
