Julie and Dan at Coronado Community Center

The blue and white striped linens and galvanized lanterns were the perfect touch for this ‘shabby chic’ meets nautical themed wedding.  Nancy Tagwerker created the centerpieces which were a combination of roses, hydrangeas and peonies in wooden boxes surrounded by candles.

Rosemary and Jay at Levyland

Personal Touch Dining had the pleasure of being a part of Jay and Rosemary’s rehearsal dinner and reception at Levyland!

A perfect evening for a rehearsal dinner with family and friends!

The reception was beautifully accented with roses and seashells. My favorite thing about the reception was the very cool aquarium cake stand made by Jay!

Brooke and Rich at Ocean View Villas

The sun was shining for this wedding held on the breathtaking cliffs at Ocean View Villas. The blue and white paper lanterns were the perfect touch for this cliffside reception!  Megan Mills of Swann Soirees was the coordinator and helped to make sure this reception went off without a hitch!

Camille and Jason at Darlington House

This was a fun and creative wedding at the Darlington House. The Panko Chicken Skewers made by Personal Touch Dining were a huge hit and Cupcake Love satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth with their delicious cupcakes! Music was provided by The Grand Canyon Sundown Band and had everyone up and moving their feet all night!

Katherine and Michael

Here is a great example of how an elaborate overlay can easily set the feel for an entire reception. The white organza overlay with black embroidered swirl gave a classic touch to a reception held at the couple’s home. Market lighting strung over the area made the reception glow as the sun sank behind the mountains. Gorgeous cake provided by Flour Power and breathtaking florals by Jasmine Creek.

Tom and Laura on Berkeley Ferryboat

Here is a wedding with tons of great details. Guests enjoyed mini pulled pork sliders during the cocktail hour, and a delicious portobello ravioli with a white wine sauce with dinner. In addition to the cakes and cupcakes provided by Baby Cakes, guests enjoyed mini pastries and ice cold root beer floats.

Serena and Jon at the Soledad Club

The Soledad Club is a hidden gem, it has gorgeous views of San Diego and a charming indoor space for the cocktail hour and reception. This menu featured a Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi Mahi with delicious Brie Whipped Potatoes. The florals were provided by Sharon Richards.

Jana and Jon at Marina Village

The bayview room is fantastic because of…well, the view! The buffet featured a hearty parmesan crusted chicken with a savory alfredo sauce. The pink and blue accents and twinkle lights set the tone for the centerpieces (designed and assembled by the bride herself!) and another delicious cake from Shirley Resnick!

Ashley and John at Thursday Club

Here is a gorgeous Thursday Club reception with upgraded Desert Blue Lamour Linens and Chocolate napkins. They mixed it up by decorating the head table in opposite colors. The manzanita tree centerpieces were handmade by Leigh Johnston. Erin Melton of Behind the Bride made sure everything went smoothly and Earl from My DJs kept the group dancing all night!

Cheri and Dan at Rancho Bernardo Courtyard

Here is a fun couple that used characters from the Mario Bros. video games for their table numbers. Teal and cornflower blue linens complimented the Spanish style Rancho Bernardo Courtyard in soothing tones. The buffet included chicken and beef fajitas and a cheese enchilada casserole as a nod to the bride and groom’s affinity for Mexican fare.
