The red and white color combination made this wedding simply stunning. The classic red rose centerpieces were by Jasmine Creek and really brought the event to life. The gorgeous cake was by Flour Power and included Chocolate, Red Velvet and Lemon Kiss flavors!
Christ Lutheran chose the Marina Village Baja Room to hold its annual silent and live auction to raise money for the school. The event featured a dessert station with chocolate fountains and strawberries for dipping, pound cake, rice krispys and an assortment of other mini desserts! The signature cocktail of the evening was a Screaming Eagle that included Southern Comfort, pineapple juice, orange juice, ginger ale and a splash of grenadine!
Personal Touch Dining had the pleasure of being a part of Jay and Rosemary’s rehearsal dinner and reception at Levyland!
A perfect evening for a rehearsal dinner with family and friends!
The reception was beautifully accented with roses and seashells. My favorite thing about the reception was the very cool aquarium cake stand made by Jay!
The guests at this reception enjoyed Midori Sour, Blue Hawaiian and Lemon Drop signature cocktails! The photobooth was a huge hit and captured the energy of the reception!

The historic El Cortez is located downtown and has everything you would need for an elegant wedding. The Don Room can hold up to 250 guests and features a 24-karat gold carved ceiling and beautiful 100 year old flooring. You can have your ceremony and reception in the Don Room or out on the spacious terrace that holds up to 600 guests.
Today I’d like to feature one of my favorite venues, the Darlington House. Everything from it’s charming gardens to the stunning fountain on its Egyptian Patio make this the perfect place to have a wedding. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking with it’s detailed archways and Spanish inspired tiling. When the ocean breeze and sounds of the nearby waves are combined with the gorgeous sun that sets over the house, the place becomes enchanted and filled with romance. The Darlington House can hold up to 200 guests yet still has an intimate and cozy feel. Emilie, the Event Manager, is wonderful and will make sure that your special day isn’t anything but perfect. Below are a few of the weddings that Personal Touch Dining has done at the Darlington House.
Yee haw! California Bank and Trust’s all-star employees had a blast at their western themed awards banquet. This event had everything to keep these cowboys entertained including line dancing, an old-fashioned photo booth, rodeo clowns and a mechanical bull! The BBQ style western cuisine was a hit and included tri-tip, jalapeno and cheddar cornbread, and a build your own baked potato and salad bar. My favorite part – Personal Touch Dining’s warm cherry, apple and peach cobbler!
