A brunch for 40 guests runs best with hot food moving straight from the station as people walk through the door, plus fresh coffee pouring steadily past 10 AM. We build our brunch menu around chef-attended stations to keep service active and fresh. Your guests get eggs, French toast, and carved tri-tip prepared right in front of them, served hot off the heat throughout the morning.
Planning morning catering across San Diego County comes down to getting the format right for your timeline. We’ve catered breakfasts and brunches across San Diego County since 1988, from backyard bridal showers to office brunches. This page is the menu itself: every station, what’s on it, and what comes with the package. For how booking, delivery windows, and service formats work, see our breakfast and brunch catering services page.
Brunch food tastes best straight from the heat. Chef-attended stations keep the entire service fresh, with a dedicated chef cooking and plating each dish on demand. Your last guest gets the exact same hot scrambled eggs and crisp French toast as the first guest through the line.
The brunch package includes 3 stations of your choice. Here’s what’s on each one.
Eggs scrambled to order with your guests' pick of breakfast sausage, Black Forest ham, applewood smoked bacon, Monterey Jack, mild cheddar and a fresh in-season vegetable assortment. Finished with house-made salsa or ketchup.
Dietary Options: vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free
Dry-rubbed tri-tip carved at the station and served with creamed horseradish, au jus and sweet corn relish. Comes with a field greens salad and fresh-baked artisan rolls with butter. This is the station that turns a breakfast into a brunch.
Dietary Options: gluten-free, nut-free
Choose 2 flavors: bacon and Gruyère, ham and sharp cheddar, or savory vegetable. Served with country potatoes. Quiche holds its texture through a longer service, which makes it a good fit for showers and open-house brunches.
Dietary Options: all 3 flavors are nut-free; savory vegetable is also vegetarian
Thick-sliced cinnamon swirl bread, griddled until golden. Topped at the station with fresh sliced strawberries, blackberry compote, whipped cream and warm maple syrup.
Dietary Options: vegetarian, nut-free, can be prepared vegan
Smashed avocado on locally sourced bread (chef's choice), with your guests' pick of crispy bacon bits, cherry tomatoes, arugula, sprouts, crumbled feta, sea salt, red pepper flakes and everything seasoning.
Dietary Options: vegetarian, can be prepared vegan
Every brunch package comes with the basics, so you’re not ordering drinks separately.
– Stations: 3 chef-attended stations of your choice from the menu above.
-Table water: Cucumber-infused ice water at the tables.
-Beverage station: Orange juice plus regular and decaf coffee.
– Dietary options: Vegetarian, gluten-free and nut-free stations, plus 2 stations that can be prepared vegan.
Three stations go a long way. Here are the combinations we suggest most often.
Bridal Shower or Baby Shower Brunch
Farmhouse Quiche, French Toast, and Avocado Toast. It’s a lighter, brunch-forward lineup that photographs well and holds through gift opening. See our bridal shower catering page and baby shower catering page for how shower service runs.
Office or Team Brunch
Scramblers, Carving Station and Farmhouse Quiche. Made-to-order eggs and carved tri-tip cover the early arrivals and the people who skipped breakfast. Our corporate catering page covers recurring office orders.
Holiday or Family Brunch at Home
Scramblers, French Toast and Carving Station. Something sweet, something savory and something hearty for a mixed-age crowd. For in-home service, see private at-home catering.
Each station is run by a chef, and we staff the event around your guest count and timeline. We can also bring the tables, linens and serveware through our rentals team, and add bar service if your brunch calls for it. You get one dedicated point of contact for the menu, staff and rentals.

Brunch adds lunch-style food to the morning lineup. The Carving Station, with tri-tip, field greens salad and artisan rolls, is the main difference, and it pairs well with breakfast stations like Scramblers or French Toast. For more planning ideas by event type, see our catering menu ideas by occasion.
The package is built on 3 stations, which covers a mix of savory, sweet and hearty. Most hosts pick one egg station, one sweet station and the Carving Station or Quiche. Send us your headcount through our contact page and we’ll recommend a lineup.
Yes. Wedding welcome brunches and morning-after brunches are a common booking for us, and the station format works well for guests arriving on different schedules. Our wedding catering page covers the rest of the weekend.
